What is Study permit?
As an Indian citizens we must have a valid travel document to enter Canada to study in designated learning institute (DLI). Most of the foreign citizens need a study permit to enter Canada including India. The earliest you can apply for this visa is 3 months before you start your course in Canada.
Fees – Study permit $150 CAD
Duration – 8 to 10 weeks
After completion of studies, students will be eligible to apply for Post study work permit. Which allow them to work in Canada for 2 to 3 years of time period.

Difference between Student Direct Stream (SDS) and Non SDS program?
The Student Direct Stream (SDS) is a fast study permit processing program for those who are applying to study at designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada. To be eligible for SDS program, candidate must meet all the eligibility criteria by providing sufficient documents.
Candidates who cannot met financial requirements of SDS program, they can apply through offline non SDS program for Canada.

- Proof of Financial support
- Medical Certificate
You may be required to provide biometrics, and you might need to undergo a Police clearance (If required).
